00:00 - 00:07: Craft materials are laid out on a white surface: black, purple and yellow sheets, scissors, a pencil or marker and a hot glue gun.
00:08 - 00:19: A black sheet is rolled diagonally into a cone to create the main shape of the witch’s hat.
00:20 - 00:26: The cone is adjusted and held in position.
00:27 - 00:38: Excess black material around the base of the cone is trimmed away with scissors.
00:39 - 00:42: The finished cone is placed to one side.
00:43 - 00:49: A large circular object is positioned on another black sheet and traced to create the hat brim.
00:50 - 01:12: The circle is cut from the black material.
01:13 - 01:19: The cone is placed in the centre of the circular brim and its base is marked.
01:20 - 01:33: An opening is cut into the centre of the brim.
01:34 - 01:39: Small tabs are cut around the bottom edge of the cone.
01:40 - 01:49: The tabs are folded underneath the brim to connect the two sections.
01:50 - 02:03: Hot glue is applied around the underside of the hat to secure the cone to the brim.
02:04 - 02:09: Decorative pieces are introduced, including a purple strip, yellow buckle and purple spider.
02:10 - 02:27: The purple strip is wrapped around the bottom of the cone to create a hat band.
02:28 - 02:34: A yellow buckle is attached to the front of the purple band.
02:35 - 02:39: A purple spider attached to a thin strand is positioned on the front of the witch’s hat.
02:40 - 02:49: The spider decoration is glued into place.
02:50 -02:49: The finishing touches are made to the spider and decorative strand.
02:53: The completed black witch’s hat is displayed, featuring a purple band, yellow buckle and hanging purple spider.
